This book explores the basic wisdom of Eckankar. From ancient roots, it resurfaced in 1965 to respond to the spiritual questions and challenges of today. It’s alive with ways to find deeper meaning, greater love, and more abiding peace in your life. In these pages people from around the world share their dramatic stories of heightened spiritual awareness and how their lives have changed.

Like few others, this book takes you far beyond what you already know about God. Yet intriguingly, it brings you closer to what you may have always felt to be true.

Each chapter features spiritual exercises and techniques to help you better understand yourself—and God.

The ECK discourses are written with a secret, internal rhythm that gradually unfolds your consciousness in a very precise and orderly manner.

When you become a member of Eckankar, you receive a discourse series for your personal study. You study one lesson a month at home. If you like, you can also join an ECK Satsang class to share experiences, insights, and questions.

By now, you are well familiar with the basic doctrines of ECK. But what have you gained? If it is only a mental grasp of the Sugmad (God), the ECK, and the Mahanta, then the best is still to come. You are now ready to unfold your spiritual vision.

The Letters of Light & Sound 1 Discourses are the next step in your spiritual training in ECK. In this series, we look at issues. You, even as Peddar Zaskq, are also getting ready to carry the message of Light and Sound to the people of the world. In your words and actions, they will see the Light of God. Some will ask about God and love and scores of other cares from their daily lives. And you need to know what to say.

This year of spiritual training will help you do that, as you grow in love and wisdom.

The purpose of a Satsang Intensive is to deeply explore the ECK works, such as a passage, an article, a Q&A from the Master, a quote from the Shariyat—anything currently published from Sri Harold or Paul Twitchell, that invites true contemplation with the Inner Master.

All chela events are open to KY and WV chelas (initiates).
