The inner and outer teachings of ECK came together to mold and shape a whole new spiritual consciousness out of what had once been your personal road to nowhere. Secret, indeed, are the teachings of the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master.

The Letters of Light & Sound 2 Discourses series helps you focus on the goals of spiritual realization and God-Realization. It looks at our system of living. The structure behind the whirlpool of everyday events has a divine intent: to nudge you ever closer toward a richer, more direct relationship with the Spirit of God, the ECK.

The purpose of a Satsang Intensive is to deeply explore the ECK works, such as a passage, an article, a Q&A from the Master, a quote from the Shariyat—anything currently published from Sri Doug Kunin, Harold Klemp or Paul Twitchell, that invites true contemplation with the Inner Master.

All chela events are open to KY and WV chelas (initiates).

As we begin to have experiences with the Light and Sound of God, we develop a greater understanding of the spiritual laws of life—laws of wisdom, freedom, and charity, or divine love.

The laws of wisdom speak of divine power and how it manifests in the universe. The laws of freedom are the practical laws that afford a smoother passage through everyday life. The laws of charity are laws that bring Soul a greater capacity to love.

Knowing these laws, we can then make our own life easier.

As awakened captains of our destiny, we can meet today’s challenges in a more relaxed and happy way. The spiritual laws of life give us the many resources to make the very best decision at any one moment.

The Master 1 Discourses is a matchless discourse series. All twelve discourses this year treat the ways of the Mahanta, the God Awareness, and his service to mankind.

His role means something to you, for he is the ideal and standard for all who love the God within themselves. The legendary Avatar of ECK walks largely unknown among the sons of men, but his influence upon history is certain, indeed.

Epictetus, the Greek Stoic philosopher, said this, “You carry a God about with you, poor wretch, and know nothing of it.” This is the unknowing condition the Mahanta finds us in.

Led by a trained teacher (Arahata), classes meet monthly for an hour to an hour and a half reviewing a lesson you've read at home.

Pay close attention to the gentle rhythm in The Easy Way Discourses, for it carries the secret melody of divine love, wisdom, and understanding. God is love. There is no higher truth than that. However, few people ever find it because of a fear of giving up old ideas and habits, even though they are the cause of most misery and anxiety in life.

This year of study will give you a broad knowledge of Soul Travel, which is the expansion of consciousness that gives freedom on every plane of God’s creation.

Each of us lives in three worlds at once: the human, the psychic, and the spiritual. Soul Travel is inner travel. With it, we move our consciousness from one of these states to another. Soul Travel is the means to visit the worlds beyond our physical body. Mainly it is a personal experience, a realization of survival. Its purpose is simply to let us reach the heart of God in this lifetime.

Apollonius of Tyana escaped the emperor’s death sentence through Soul Travel. It led Christ to the cosmic consciousness. Through it Rebezar Tarzs, the Tibetan saint, found the Light and Sound of God.

And how is Soul Travel done?

With the spiritual exercises in the Soul Travel 1 discourses.

Today, the individual wonders: Where is the better way to God? Can I ever hope to understand and control my own life? Is happiness an empty dream? Where is love to fill my heart? And where is spiritual freedom?

The purpose of ECK is to let the individual reach the Kingdom of God by his own path, in this lifetime. These Soul Travel 1—The Illuminated Way discourses are written for the spiritual unfoldment of all ECKists, from the First to the Eighth Circles.

Four times a year, this four-color, eight-page periodical comes to the home of every member of Eckankar. The Living ECK Master publishes it regularly to give assistance and to clarify many things in the works of ECK to help each Soul reach God.
